What happens to your enquiry
When you send an enquiry, we receive your name, email address, suburb, phone number if you gave one, the service you chose and your message, and we store them so we can reply and pass your enquiry to a licensed local plumber who covers your suburb. That plumber receives your name, contact details, suburb and message so they can contact you about the job, and handles them under their own privacy obligations; they are an independent business, not part of this website. We also record which page you sent it from, your browser type and a one-way hashed version of your network address. The hash is used only to stop spam. It cannot be turned back into your address.
Your enquiry is also recorded in GoHighLevel, the customer management system we use to pass enquiries on. The licensed plumber who covers your area is given access to it there, so they can contact you and keep track of the job. GoHighLevel is run by HighLevel, a company based in the United States, so your enquiry is stored overseas.
If you give a mobile number, we text you a confirmation with your reference when your enquiry arrives. A few days later we may text you, or email you if you gave no mobile, to ask whether the job went ahead, and once it is done, to ask for a review. Reply STOP to any text and we will not text you again.
Where email notifications are switched on, a copy of your enquiry is emailed to us through our delivery provider. We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to handle the enquiry, and we delete them on request.
If the online form fails, the website puts your enquiry into an email on your own device instead. Nothing is sent to us until you press send in your email app.
If you call or text 0485 093 838, the call is carried by our phone provider, GoHighLevel, and put through to an independent, licensed local plumber who covers your area. Calls are recorded and transcribed, and callers hear a message saying so before they are connected. Your phone number, the time and length of the call, the recording, the transcript and any text messages are kept there so the plumber has a record of the job and can follow up.
Who else touches it
The plumber your enquiry is passed to, as above. Calls and texts to 0485 093 838 are carried by GoHighLevel. This website is hosted by Vercel and enquiries are stored with Neon, our database provider, and in GoHighLevel, our customer management system. Optional notification emails go through Resend. Each of them handles the technical information needed to run and secure their service. Fonts come from Google Fonts, which receives the technical information needed to serve the font files. Google Ads measures which of our ads lead to enquiries, as described below.
Maps
The maps on this site do not load until you click one. Until then they are just a picture we drew, and the map requests nothing from Google. When you do open a map, Google receives your network address and the usual technical information, and may set its own cookies, under Google's privacy policy rather than ours. If you would rather not, do not click the map: nothing else on the page depends on it.
Advertising and cookies
We advertise on Google, and every page loads the Google Ads tag so we can see which ads lead to enquiries and show our ads again to people who have visited. Google sets its own cookies and receives your network address, the pages you view, whether you sent an enquiry or tapped the phone number, and the usual technical information, under Google's privacy policy rather than ours. It does not receive what you write in the enquiry form. You can turn off personalised ads in your Google account's My Ad Center, or block third-party cookies in your browser; the site works the same either way.
There are no other advertising or analytics trackers. The enquiry form does not save your details in your browser.
What you can ask for
You can email us directly instead of using the form. To see what we hold, correct it or have it deleted, write to hello@blockeddrainsipswich.com.au and we will sort it out.
