Camira: what
actually goes wrong.
Camira is a quiet, tree-lined suburb on the eastern edge of Ipswich, developed mainly through the 1980s and 1990s with larger-than-average blocks. Its bushland character is part of the appeal, but mature gums and established gardens also mean roots and leaf litter are regular visitors to drains and gutters.
Camira was built while drainage and plumbing materials were changing over, which means one house can have clay in the front yard and PVC out the back. Blockages here usually trace to one ageing section or a junction between the two, not the whole system.
